Baltais Turkish Yoghurt is a unique dairy product fermented with a special yoghurt bacterium using the thermostat method. The thermostat method involves filling the yoghurt mass together with the fermenting agent into a container, which is then placed in a warm environment. By fermenting in warm conditions, the yoghurt thickens and the consistency becomes homogenous, mild and creamy. When the required consistency is achieved, it is cooled down, and the yoghurt is ready to use.
