“Baltais Eko” products compliance with biologic production standards is certified with the organic farming certificate Nr. 05-001-2011/P-05 issued by SLLC “Sertifikācijas un testēšanas centrs”. The certificate has been issued on the basis of Regulation (EC) No.834/2007 Article 29 Paragraph 1 and Regulation No.889/2008. The obtained certificate guarantees strict compliance with the criteria both in the production process and the supply of raw materials from organic farms. During the validity period of the certificate the certifying body carries out regular monitoring of production facilities ensuring its compliance with organic farming standards.
Milk
Natural, good quality milk rich in nutrients is the main secret in the production of any dairy product. Therefore our production technologists pay attention not only to the quality of milk, but also the conditions in which dairy herd is kept and their food.
“Baltais Eko” yoghurt is made of milk taken from farm “Akmeņkalni” in Ventspils region which has an organic farming certificate. Farm’s herds are fed with clean, high quality organic fodder, therefore milk is rich with proteins and fats and has a small amount of pathogenic bacteria and it doesn’t have artificial admixture.
Berry jam
Natural and unique taste of “Baltais Eko” yoghurt is given by raspberries grown in organic farms and bilberries gathered in certified forests. These berries are processed in a very aromatic jam by Pure Food in Tukums region which is internationally recognised producer of yoghurt additives. Modern equipment and technologies are used in production of the jam that maximizes the possibility of maintaining the natural taste, colour and smell of berries.
Sugar
